LSVI happened a few months ago, noone ever wrote an account of it, so this summary will have to suffice.
LSVI was a disgrace. The only new technology tested were Richard's parachutes, which all failed and my new hs launch system, the wire wool system, which barely succeeded. Jenny's friend Ed turned up with a hold till explode style rocket and Jenny earned herself a danger black mark by telling him not to worry, if it exploded in his hand it would at worst set his ears ringing. Nick's four boaster system for BBII proved too burlesque to be practical. My second Gargantua launch succeeded, but the height attained was modest. Richard earned a danger black mark by saying to Nick "you hold the funnel, its only cold stuff, it won't hurt." We all earned a danger black mark by hand launching BBII, suprisingly we succeeded and Nick attained war photographer status by photographing her as she flew at him. Brilliant photo. Our second attempt at this foolishness sent BBII to join BB. Another brilliant photo shows Richard and I fleeing the blast that bent almost double the launch pole.
